Chop Suey

Filipino-style Chop Suey is a dish consists of stir-fried vegetables with meat, poultry, or fish and seafood. The most common vegetable ingredients of Filipino Style Chop Suey are cabbage, carrots and green peppers along with chicken, pork, and shrimp.

Kaldereta

Kaldereta is a favourite Filipino meal served during parties, festivities and other special occasions in the Philippines. It is a Spanish-influenced dish (the Spanish word “caldera” means cauldron) that became to be Filipinos’ favourite and made their own versions. Originally, the main ingredients of this dish include goat meat, tomato sauce, liver, pepper and cheese.

Pancit

Pancit or pansit is the term for noodles in Filipino cuisine. Noodles were introduced into the Philippines by the Chinese and have since been adopted into local cuisine. Different kinds of noodles can be found in Filipino supermarkets which can then be cooked at home. Noodle dishes are also standard fare in local restaurants.
